Ha! Ha! (you wanted ridicule? There's your ridicule!) Oh wait, you don't use a competent library manager, you use iTunes. Honestly though, so long as your music library manager competently sorted your files into a sensible human readable format, you're better off just using the file browser. Once it's all done, you can use the database. Once it's done scanning, it has to build the database and that can take time, so more patience. It can take a long time depending on how much it's scanning, so be patient. If you want to use the Database, click on Database and wait while it scans the storage for all your music. Go to Files and browse until you find your /Music folder and your album folders and everything is there and plays correctly. you know what? Try like 4 or 5 album folders to test and make sure everything works first. I recommend trying to copy over parent folder trees as much as possible. Now just copy/paste or drag/drop your music files to your /Music folder. Open the iPod's storage and make a new folder called Music (or whatever. you should always mention what OS you're using when asking for tech support). The iPod should appear on your computer (via File Explorer or Finder. Once in the stock player, plug in to your computer with USB. Seriously, fuck iTunes.įirst, reboot your iPod by holding Menu+Select until the screen goes black, and then quickly engage the hold switch so it boots into the stock player. The easiest way is to ignore iTunes and just drag and drop your music from your computer to the iPod.
